  1. Basic, unfortunately. Classic Chinese interior design is rigid and impractical. I mean just look at those 90 degree wooden chairs in the bedrooms!

    Luxury should be about marrying the best of classic and modern design.

  2. If I could trust Chinese authorities not to hold me as a random American tourist on trumped up charges as some sort of spy when I try to leave the country (and without recourse to the American embassy), I would gladly visit China.

    But I don't trust them not to pull those sort of tricks, so I will never set foot there.
