Low-cost carriers Wizz and Ryanair are set to resume flights to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport. Wizz will start operations on routes from Budapest, Bucharest, Sofia, London Luton, Krakow, and Rome Fiumicino from 1 Feb. 2024, with three flights per week. Ryanair will resume flights on 1 March 2024 from Karlsruhe/Baden Baden, Marseilles, Memmingen, Milan, and Vienna on a reduced schedule. Full-service carriers like Aegean, Austrian, Swiss, and Lufthansa have already resumed flights following EASA guidance, with Air France set to resume flights from 24 Feb. 2024. EasyJet is keeping the situation under review. Etihad Airways has also launched Israel service.
