I've stayed at The Peninsula, Shanghai twice now, and -- for my money -- it's the best metropolitan hotel anywhere. Be sure to book a Deluxe River Room expressly for the view!. Just amazing! All of the Pudong skyline is glimmering outside above the river. There's no better bet on the Bund!
