  1. Stay away if you dont like mouses/rats. We stayed in a beach villa and saw one running around in our living room. Ok, we got complimentary dinner after our complaint but holiday was spoiled cos i have great fear of mouses/rats. Datai said it's part of the rainforest's rich flora n fauna.😒
Our main headshower didnt have hot water. The genersl manager said it's our fault..ie we didnt' know how to turn the hot water knob...(ridiculous).but the butler came n turned the knob again n again for 5 to 10 min but still no hot water. It was only resolved the next day...

  2. this video gives the datai NO justice. the staff are the most amazing people you will ever meet, the new beach pool villas are upmost luxury, the food is impeccable and the location is stunning. myself and my family have gone 5 times and weve also stayed in some of the best hotels in the world and this place tops the lot. you will find no better
