GAMA Reveals Executive Committee Leadership Team for 2024

The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) has revealed the Executive Committee leadership team for 2024, which will provide strategic leadership for the association and lead its policy committees. The committee will be chaired by Allen Paxson, Carlos Brana, and Charles Wiplinger, among others. The committee will focus on areas such as certification processes, environmental issues, safety and accident investigation, and electric propulsion aircraft. The Executive Committee was elected by the Board of Directors during its Fall Board Meeting, with members including leaders from GE Aerospace, Dassault Aviation, Wipaire, and others. This team will work to advocate for the interests of general/business aviation in Europe and worldwide.

Introducing the General Aviation Manufacturers Association’s (GAMA) Executive Committee

The GAMA Executive Committee for 2024 has just been unveiled and it’s stacked with seasoned leaders from across the aerospace industry. These industry titans are charged with leading GAMA’s policy committees and setting the strategic direction for the association.

Did you know that the Executive Committee for GAMA’s 2024 board was elected during its Fall Board Meeting, where industry leaders from across the globe came together to shape the future of aviation?

Some notable appointments include Allen Paxson, Vice President and General Manager of GE Aerospace, serving as the chair of the Technical Policy Committee. This is Paxson’s first time on the Executive Committee, after joining GAMA in 2023.

Meanwhile, Frank Moesta, Senior Vice President, Strategy and Future Programmes for Rolls-Royce, will be leading the Environment Committee, where he’ll be advocating for the industry’s views on environmental policy issues worldwide. Moesta, has been a member of GAMA’s Board of Directors since 2020.

Each member of this committee brings a unique set of skills, perspectives, and experience to drive the General Aviation Manufacturers Association to new heights in the coming year. With these leaders at the helm, GAMA is well-positioned for success in 2024 and beyond.
