BBN Airlines Indonesia, a part of Avia Solutions Group, has acquired four Boeing 737 aircraft with plans to build a fleet of 40 planes by 2027. The airline reached agreements for three Boeing 737-800 and one Boeing 737-400F in November 2023. The aircraft are currently undergoing maintenance checks and are expected to be ready for unscheduled domestic and international passenger charter flights by early March 2024. Chairman Martynas Grigas is confident the new fleet will increase load factors and open new routes, focusing on unscheduled passenger charter flights and air cargo transportation services.
