All Nipon Airways’ new low-cost carrier AirJapan, owned by ANA Holdings, has launched its inaugural flight from Tokyo’s Narita International Airport to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport on February 9, 2024. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner will operate six round-trip flights per week to Bangkok and will add flights to Seoul and Singapore later in February. AirJapan offers an all-economy seating configuration with the same legroom as full-service carrier flights. The company’s president, Hideki Mineguchi, highlighted the comfortable seating as a major selling point. One-way tickets to Bangkok start at $104, while trips to Seoul will cost $53 and Singapore around $120.
